Orange Peel Grapple (also known as Cactus Grab) comes in 2 variants, hydraulic and mechanical, and both are designed for heavy duty operations, suitable for handling scrap metal, rock, wood chips, garbage, etc. A rotator can be added as an optional feature, assuring efficient and precise positioning of the load in the pile or over a truck. Types of orange peel grapples:

1. Shapes of claws: Semi-enclosed and Fully enclosed.

* Semi-enclosed claws: suitable for grabbing formed medium and large materials, such as: domestic garbage, scrap iron, scrap steel and other fixed wastes.

* Fully enclosed claws: suitable for grabbing trivial small materials, such as: broken stones, broken iron filings and other broken wastes.

2. Number of claws: four-claw, five-claw and six-claw.

The more claws there are, the greater the tip gripping force.

3. Fixing form of cylinder: Internal Cylinder and External Cylinder.

* Orange peel grapple with internal cylinder:

shorter in overall height and is mostly suitable for indoor places with limited height. The piston rod can be well protected when it is extended or retracted.

* Orange peel grapple with external cylinder:

taller in overall height and is mostly suitable for outdoor places with unlimited height. The piston rod is exposed to the outside when it is extended or retracted, and a protective cover is needed to protect the piston rod.
